A card painting I done for my girlfriend, I had a strong feeling about it so I decided to spend my birthday night to paint something I enjoy. The inspiration came from the decorative house box that my girlfriend made for me last time :p Hope you guys like it as well! Had another chance to join the Artjam session again, and it's with pets this time round! We've got two Silky Terrier, and one fat hamster! It's too hard for them to stay still so I end up with a random comic instead. Was really fun to just let the hand do the work and doesnt think too much :)

A few days ago I attended my college's One Art Club activity, Kim Jung-gi Sketching Marathon, One Step to Penang. The artist I admired so much recently finally came to visit my country, I can only say that I'm very lucky to be able to join the fun. Very inspiring sharing session by the master himself, definitely motivating. Here's some pictures to share the moment.

Finally we had our chance to take a photo with Master Kim Jung-gi(middle),
right after he finished his demo. I'm the red shirt geek.

Met this famous cartoonist from Gempakstarz, Keith(middle).
He's known for his Lawak Kampus comic strip in a local magazine.

And of course, a photo with the Principal/Managing Director of The One Academy Penang,
Mr. Leong Hoy Yoke. (middle black). It's such an honor to meet him in person.

Of course, I joined the fun as well. 

Like I'm gonna miss the chance to sketch together with so many geeks!

This work is done for a college assignment in which the requirement is we have to produce a short clip with a compositing software in a duration of approximately 40 seconds. I combine 3D modeling with 2D background to practise my poor compositing skills. Also I chose to do an organice modeling as I want to improve more on my understanding in Zbrush sculpting and Mental Ray rendering. The concept was roughly inspired by Predator and Alvaro Buendia's Feto modeling. The whole project took about 2 weeks on and off to complete.
